Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old healing system that originated in India. It means the “science of life” and offers a rich perspective and practical tools for leading a long, healthy and happy life. The purpose of Ayurveda is to help us return to our natural state of health, balance and wholeness. It focuses on the 6 pillars of health: sleep, meditation, mindful movement, healthy emotions, grounding and optimal nutrition.

In Ayurveda, there is no “one size fits all” prescription for well-being; instead every health-related measure is based on an individual’s mind-body type, or dosha, and the needs that derive from it. Consultations focus on finding your primary, secondary and tertiary mind-body type (dosha) so that your nutrition, exercise and daily routine is specific to meet your unique needs.
